Edgar Quiroga is the new Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Universidad del Valle, Colombia

Professor Edgar Leonardo Quiroga Rubiano is the new Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia. He has been elected for the period 2008-2011, and will assume his new post on June 1st. Prof. Quiroga, a sanitary engineer, was director of CINARA, the Instituto de Investigación y Desarrollo en Abastecimiento de Agua, Saneamiento Ambiental y Conservación del Recurso Hídrico, from 2001 to 2007. CINARA is a research and development institution based at the Faculty of Engineering at Universidad del Valle.
